IF YOU ARE A LAWYER CONSIDERING RETAINING THE FIRM OR BEING CO-COUNSEL WITH THE FIRM
Proper contractual arrangements for the prosecution of the claim will be undertaken after discussion with the referring lawyer. The client must consent and the referring lawyer must also consent. The referring lawyer must also be available to consult with the client should the client wish, and consult with us. We normally advance all expenses of the case. With prior client permission, we are sometimes able to divide the work on the case with the referring lawyer, with fees paid in proportion to the division of work on the case. We will usually agree to do this if it is a significant case and if the referring lawyer is qualified to handle a portion of the case.
